About ARTiculate

ARTiculate is a youth-led Non-Profit initiative dedicated to amplifying youth voices in political discourse through artistic expression. By providing platforms for creative expression, we strive to encourage youth civic participation and foster an inclusive space where youth of all ages and backgrounds are able to express their political intentions through a different medium.

  • Why?

Young people are one of the most underrepresented groups of voices in politics, however, they are still among those impacted substantially by political decisions. Traditional methods of civic engagement often lack resonance and are difficult to access for younger generations. That's why at ARTiculate, we want to redefine political engagement through art. ARTiculate believes that, through artistic expression, youth can be not only the leaders of tomorrow, but change-makers today.
  • Vision

ARTiculate aims to challenge the misconception that youth are disengaged or incapable of contributing to political discourse. With art as a catalyst for change, we envision a world where youth are not only included in political conversations but are leading them. We believe that political engagement should be normalized in youth communities. We are dedicated to creating inclusive platforms where showcases of politically inspired youth artworks are made more visible to the world.
  • Mission & What We Do

Creating Platforms for Expression: both online and offline, where youth may use diverse mediums, including visual art, poetry, music, performance, and digital media.
Strategic Partnerships: collaborate with local policy makers, government organizations, advocacy groups, schools, and communities to integrate youth perspective into real-world politics.
Youth Civic Education: incorporate art-based civic education to increase youth awareness of the political system, voting, and methods of advocacy to become informed civic participants.
Public & Digital Art Campaigns: highlight youth perspective by using powerful visual statements to inspire public dialogue and challenge narratives.
Program Development: ARTiculate is a growing organization continually innovating at the intersection of art and politics. We are creating new programming, expanding partnerships, and extending our influence.
